C. Wyeth to 1973; Carolyn Wyeth to late 1970s. CURATORIAL COMMENT After the artist's death, the drawing was adhered into a scrapbook titled "Drawings & Sketches of N. C. Wyeth, NA," ordered by Andrew Wyeth and constructed for him by G. Alan Chidsey of Great Neck, NY. Wyeth presented the scrapbook to his mother at Christmas, 1946. The scrapbook was sold out of the family with the permission of Carolyn Wyeth, but it surfaced in 2009, with this and only two other drawings (NCW 2626 and NCW 2627) still in it.
